ABOUT THE CENTRAL OHIO DIVISION
Central Ohio Division territory: The counties of Franklin, Madison, Union, Marion, Delaware, Morrow, Knox, Licking Fairfield, Pickaway, Hocking, Vinton, Jackson, Galia, Lawrence, Meigs, Athens, Perry, Morgan, Muskingum, Coshocton, Holmes, Tuscarawas, Guernsey, Noble, Washington, Monroe, Belmont, Harirson, Carroll, and Jefferson
The Central Ohio Division (COD, for short) is the local governing body that supports USA Fencing in all of its legal objectives, purposes and obligations:

To promote, develop and encourage the Olympic sport of fencing;

To run two qualifying tournaments each year where fencers in our territory can qualify for national-level championships. The Junior Olympic Qualifier (Junior and Cadet) is held in December, and the Summer Nationals Qualifier (Div II, Div III, and Y-14) is held in April;

To sponsor qualifying competitions and support local tournaments;

To assist fencers in reaching their full potential in the sport of fencing
BOARD LEADERSHIP
2024-2025 Season
The Central Ohio Division Board is elected by members at the Annual Meting in June and serves a one-season term from August 1 through July 31. It is managed by an all-volunteer board members which meets several times a year.
